Hero MotorCorp launched the BS6 version of HF Deluxe recently. The motorcycle was earlier offered in three variants namely Self-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheel-Fi, Self-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheel-Fi i3s, and Self-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheel-Fi All Black. These variants were launched in the price range of Rs 56,675 - Rs 58,000 (ex-showroom). Recently, the company has introduced two more variants namely Kick-Start, DrumBrake, Spoke Wheel- Fi and Kick-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheel- Fi. These two variants have been launched at Rs 46,800 and Rs 46,700 (all prices ex-showroom), respectively.

Hero HF Deluxe

The base variant Self-start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheels - Fi is the most affordable variant in the Hero HF Deluxe line up. The BS4 version was available with spoke wheels but with an up gradation to BS6 means that it now comes with alloy wheels. This variant retains the fuel-injected 97.2cc engine but misses out on Hero’s i3s Stop-Start Technology. The Self-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheels - Fi -i3s gets every feature that is present in the base variant. The only addition is the Hero’s i3s Stop-Start System. Due to this additional feature, it is Rs 13,000 more expensive than the base variant. It is priced at Rs 58,000 (ex-showroom). The Self-start, Drumbrake, Alloy Wheels - All Black variant gets a blacked-out paint scheme with chrome bits. It is priced at Rs 56,800 (ex-showroom).

The two new variants namely Kick-Start, DrumBrake, Spoke Wheel- Fi and Kick-Start, DrumBrake, Alloy Wheel- Fi weighs 109 kgs. The motorcycle is powered by the same 97.2 cc engine that churns out 7.94 bhp power and 8.05 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike gets a ground clearance of 165 mm. In terms of the brakes, it gets 130 mm drum brakes in the front and the rear. Both of these variants do not offer an electric start option. The motorcycle will be competing against the likes of CT100.
